Back-To-School Hours In Effect At Centennial Beach

NAPERVILLE, IL - It's the time of year that students collectively dread and that parents collectively await: the start of the school year. With it comes new, limited back-to-school hours at Naperville's Centennial Beach.

The back-to-school hours go into effect Aug. 14 and will be effective until the season ends on Sept. 2. The new schedule is as follows:

Aug. 14: Closed

Aug. 15 & 16: Open swim from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Aug. 18: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; Open swim from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Aug. 19 & 20: Open swim from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Aug. 21-23: Closed

Aug. 24: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; Open swim from 11 a.m. to dusk

Aug. 26-30: Closed

Aug. 31: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; Open swim from 11 a.m. to dusk

Sept. 1: Adult float from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; Open swim from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Sept. 2: Adult float (members only) from 9 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.; Open swim from 11 a.m. to dusk
