Bret Michaels To Headline Naperville's Last Fling

The former Poison frontman will perform on Saturday, Sept. 2.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Rocker and reality TV star Bret Michaels will headline this year's Last Fling on Saturday, Sept. 2, the Naperville Jaycees announced Monday. The former Poison frontman and "Rock of Love" star will perform at 8:30 p.m. Ticket are available now on the Last Fling website.

Last month, the Jaycees announced Barenaked Ladies as the Sunday headliner. Performers for Friday and Monday have yet to be announced.

"Legendary singer/songwriter Bret Michaels has sold over 35 million records worldwide, is a reality TV superstar with some of the highest-rated reality shows in history, as well as a lifelong type 1 diabetic," the Jaycees said in a news release. "Bret rose to fame as the frontman of Poison, one of rock’s most iconic and enduring bands.

Tickets for musical performances are $25 for general admission on Rotary Hill (blankets and lawn chairs welcome), $75 for PIT access in the standing-room-only area closest to the stage, and $250 for exclusive Carillon area seating tickets, complete with snacks, a catered multi-course meal and unlimited beverages, plus exclusive access to the front of the stage and a meet and greet photo op with the band. This year's Last Fling runs from Sept. 1 to Sept. 4 along Naperville's Riverwalk and in downtown Naperville. "The Last Fling is a family-friendly community festival that offers a wide variety of attractions for all ages, from the Family Fun Land and carnival to concerts featuring national and local musicians, a business expo and parade," organizers said.
