The popular children's New Year's Eve celebration was tabled in 2020 due to coronavirus.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Kids can launch homemade rockets, dance to live DJ music, watch a science show and play in bubbles and confetti to ring in the 2022 New Year when the popular "A Bubble Bash" event returns to DuPage Children's Museum (DCM) Dec. 31.
The fun-filled event's interactive activities include:
- Live music from Little Miss Ann (10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.) and Bach to Rock
- Do-it-yourself party rockets, confetti poppers, noisemakers and festive attire
- Glowing art
- Firework painting
- Science show with liquid nitrogen demonstration
- New Year's Eve 2022 countdowns at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with bubbles, confetti and more
- Quiet, sensory-friendly countdowns
“This event is all about creating memorable experiences, whether families are creating their own musical instruments to make some noise at the countdown or experimenting with fluorescent paint in The Studio,” Chris Berg, Public Programs Manager at DuPage Children’s Museum said in a news release.
