Our firm’s history begins in 2000, when Alford Group Executive Search (later renamed Alford Executive Search) was started by The Alford Group, one of the largest and most respected firms working with nonprofit organizations nationwide. KEES (Kistner Eddy Executive Services) was founded in 2013 as an expansion of Alford Executive Search.

KEES co-founders Heather Eddy and Remo Kistner shared a vision to expand services beyond Executive Search, thereby supporting nonprofits more effectively in various capacities. Heather Eddy was a key leader at The Alford Group and Alford Group Executive Search from 1996-2013 and now serves as President and CEO of KEES.

As an SBA certified woman-owned and operated firm that partners with clients across the country, KEES offers a variety of services specifically designed to streamline organization, create efficiencies, and ensure that missions are moving forward.

Because we know the importance of leadership and staffing, each of our team members has served as a nonprofit staff leader, board member and/or key volunteer. This experience, coupled with extensive training and years of consulting, gives our team the expertise and strategic ability to deliver our services to all segments of the nonprofit sector, including community-based service agencies, human serving enterprises, associations, foundations, health care entities, arts/culture organizations, faith-based and educational institutions, and senior living/aging communities.
