Join the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana (GCNWI) for a day of inspiration and connection at your local Girl Scouts Gathering Place starting at 11 a.m. CST on Saturday, August 16. All Girl Scouts, volunteers (and friends!) are invited to “Embrace Possibilities Together.”
Volunteers will embark on a mindset scavenger hunt and a Girl Scout progressions game to showcase and demonstrate the things they should keep in mind as they plan with their troops over the course of the year. Meanwhile, Girl Scouts and their friends will learn about wellness by creating a wellness bag, decorating and filling it with hand sanitizer, positive affirmations, pencils, tissues, and small snacks, all while building friendships, making your own ice cream and earning a special “Embrace Possibilities Together” patch!
