FVGS is proud to participate in Naper Settlement's Gettysburg Day, where visitors can take a step back in time to commemorate the 163rd anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. FVGS will have volunteers on hand to help you explore your family connections to this significant period in American history.

Stop by the Mary and Richard Benck Family Agriculture Center (building with the red roof). We'll help you identify potential Civil War ancestors and point you toward helpful records and resources.
