Family STEM Night: Fantastic Food Science

Explore how pioneers preserved and prepared food on the frontier! Through hands-on activities, uncover the science behind pickling, baking, and fermentation, and connect these historic techniques to modern food science. This program is recommended for children ages 5 to 11 and their caretaker. Family STEM Nights honors the work of Sally L. Pentecost, Naperville educator and administrator for her twenty-four years of service to the Naperville Heritage Society Board of Directors.
