Car Burglar Pulls Gun On Homeowner: Naperville Police

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville Crime Stoppers are offering reward of up to $1,000 for information leading the arrest of the person who burglarized a Naperville resident's car and pointed a gun at the homeowner when confronted. Police said the owner of the vehicle confronted the suspect just after midnight June 1 in the 100 block of Whispering Hills. The suspect then pointed a gun at the homeowner and fled the scene, police said.

The suspect, described as a black male who was at least 5-foot-7 and wearing a gray hoodie and brown shorts, fled south on Whispering Hills, police said.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect for stealing a wallet and unlawful use of a credit card, police said.
