Caution Urged For Commuters Amid Possible Walkouts In Naperville
Police say the walkouts may start around 10:30 a.m. and take place throughout the day and throughout the city.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police are encouraging commuters to stay cautious and allow for extra travel time amid possible school walkouts on Friday.
The walkouts may begin as early as 10:30 a.m., per an update, and last throughout the day near different schools in the city. Caution was especially urged for commuters who are traveling through downtown Naperville and near the intersection of 95th Street and Route 59.
There's expected to be increased police patrols to mitigate potential walkouts.

On Thursday, Naperville Police issued advice to parents and students about school walkouts and demonstrations via social media. They said they would "maintain a reasonable presence" in the event of a demonstration or walkout.
