'Cheer' Star Charged With Producing Child Pornography: FBI
The Naperville resident and Netflix star was arrested Thursday on federal charges.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville resident Jerry Harris, 21, who starred in "Cheer" on Netflix, was arrested Thursday on federal child pornography production charges. Harris is accused of contacting a 13-year-old boy on social media and enticing him to send sexually explicit photos and videos, according to the complaint.
The complaint further alleges that the teen informed Harris of his age during their initial online communication. If convicted, Harris faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
Harris was sued Monday in Texas by two boys who said he sent and requested sexually explicit photos when they were 13 years old. The FBI conducted a search of Harris's Naperville home Monday.
