'Chef Showdown' To Raise Funds For Loaves & Fishes

Chefs from Bev's and Allegory will face off at this fun event, which brings in money to help support local families in need.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Gourmet food, signature cocktails and more will be offered to help raised money for families in need during the Loaves & Fishes 2023 Chef Showdown, set for April 19.

Chefs from Allegory and Bev's will craft dishes with the help of local "celebrity sous chefs" that include:

  • Kelly Douglas
  • Megan Lynch
  • Tom Miers
  • Chuck Nelson

Judges will vote on the best cuisine during the showdown, which is to be hosted by Nicki Anderson, who is on the Loaves & Fishes board of directors.

My Chef Catering will serve up cocktails, including a signature drink that visitors can sip in an Ice Bar in the building's walk-in cooler.

“We are thrilled to be hosting Chef Showdown and are very grateful to our partners, sponsors, and guests.” Loaves & Fishes CEO and President Mike Havala said in a statement.
