Chesterbrook Academy Preschoolers Donate to Local Seniors in Need

Through Well Wishes Project, students provided winter gear, toiletries and more for senior residents at the John Murphy Center

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools in Shorewood and Tall Grass, Naperville recently donated 160 items – including hats, gloves, scarves, socks, toiletries and books – to Well Wishes Project to benefit local seniors in need. Throughout November, the schools partnered together to collect essential items for senior residents at the John Murphy Center, a low-income apartment community in Joliet. Well Wishes Project will stuff stockings with the donations from Chesterbrook Academy Preschools and will deliver them to the residents for the holiday season. Through this initiative, students have been learning the importance of giving back to the community.

Well Wishes Project provides individuals and families with little extras for birthdays, holidays, and sometimes just because.
