Chicago Premium Outlets Expansion Creates Job Opportunities for Hundreds

AURORA, Ill. (June 15, 2015) – Chicago Premium Outlets® will hold a Job Fair to fill approximately 300 new full- and part-time positions created by this summer’s highly-anticipated, 50-store expansion of the popular outlet center. Scheduled for Thursday, July 9 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) at Pipers Banquet Hall, 1295 Butterfield Rd., Aurora, the Job Fair will connect local job-seekers with an anticipated 65 future and current Chicago Premium Outlets retailers accepting employment applications for management, sales and customer service positions. Hiring retailers will include Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, American Eagle, Express Factory Outlet, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Tommy Kids, UGG Australia and many more.

Upon completion in late August, the multi-million dollar expansion of Chicago Premium Outlets will make the 688,000-sq.-ft. center the largest and most successful outlet shopping destination in the market, with more than 170 stores delivering top brands offering savings of 25 to 65 percent every day. New stores announced to date include anchor Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, the first Midwest outlets for eclectic lifestyle designer Robert Graham and Clarins luxury skincare, plus a range of other popular designer and name brand outlets including Abercrombie & Fitch Outlet, bebe, Columbia Sportswear, Express Factory Outlet, The Limited Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, Quicksilver, Tommy Hilfiger Kids, UGG Australia and Vince.

Expansion plans also include the addition of approximately 2,200 new parking spaces and a complete renovation to the existing center providing a welcoming and dynamic environment with amenities to include fire places, art installations and a feature pond. Enhanced landscaping and newly paved sidewalks, upgraded seating and lounge areas, improved lighting, a fresh new paint color scheme, plus updates to the center’s food offerings are all underway.

All current retailers are open for business, so shoppers can continue to enjoy outstanding savings at stores that have made Chicago Premium Outlets a premier shopping destination, including Adidas, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Diesel, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade New York, Levi’s Outlet Store, MaxMara, Polo Ralph Lauren, Salvatore Ferragamo and Tag Heuer.
