City Of Naperville: Planning And Zoning Commission Moving To In-Person Meetings Starting July 21

Starting on Wednesday, July 21, the Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission (PZC) will hold all its meetings in-person. All Planning and Zoning Commissioners and City staff will be physically present in Council Chambers, and Zoom will no longer be utilized for Commissioner, staff or citizen participation.  

Citizens wishing to provide live public comment, testimony or cross-examination of witnesses during the live meeting must do so in-person in Council Chambers as of July 21. With the return to in-person meetings, the PZC will no longer utilize an online speaker-sign-up form. Citizens wishing to address the Planning and Zoning Commission must sign-up in person the day of the meeting outside of City Council Chambers between 6:30 and 6:50 p.m.

Citizens may still submit a written comment to planning@naperville.il.us in advance of the meeting. Written comments are available for advance review by the PZC and are not read into the record during the meeting. In keeping with current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines, fully vaccinated individuals will not be required to wear a face covering in Council Chambers. Those who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must wear a face covering if they cannot socially distance from other individuals.
