Commercial Oven Explodes, Causes Fire At Factory In Naperville
Firefighters battled a blaze at a factory on Ogden Avenue in Naperville Tuesday afternoon.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A commercial oven exploded in a factory in Naperville Tuesday afternoon, causing a fire to start in the building.
Firefighters were called to the 1500 block of Ogden Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. When fire crews got to the scene, they did not initially see fire or smoke coming from the building.
After entering the factory, firefighters found that a commercial oven had exploded and caused fire and smoke to spread nearby.

Due to the amount of smoke caused by the explosion, the Naperville Fire Department called several other fire companies in for assistance.
No one was injured during the blaze and the factory was deemed habitable after the incident.
