Cops Find 8 Guns, More Than 750 Grams Cocaine After Man Fled Traffic Stop In Stolen Car: Naperville PD
Police say they found eight guns and more than 750 grams of cocaine when they searched Dionte Neustadter's Aurora home.

NAPERVILLE, IL — An Aurora man was denied pretrail release after police say they found eight guns and more than 750 grams of cocaine in his home after he fled a traffic stop in Naperville in a stolen car.
Dionte Neustadter, 46, of the 500 block of Grosvenor Lane, was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, aggravated possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a machine gun, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and fleeing and eluding a police officer in connection with the Jan. 15 incident.
Police say they had received a tip about a stolen 2024 Ford F150 Raptor that had been seen in Naperville. Officer spotted the Ford at a gas station on North Aurora Road and initiated a stop for a traffic violation when it left the station.

According to prosecutors, the driver, later identified as Neustadter, stopped, but then pulled away and began fleeing police at high speeds after officers approached the car.
Neustadter was arrested Feb. 24 in the 1100 block of Ogden Ave. Officers reported that they found 21 grams of cocaine on Neustadter during his arrest.

Police later executed a search warrant of his home and reported finding a stolen key fob for a Ford Raptor, 753 grams of cocaine, $47,120 in cash and eight guns, some of which had been reported stolen.
The guns included:
- A .22-caliber pistol with an automatic switch that was reported stolen out of Country Club Hills
- A loaded Glock 17
- A loaded Springfield Hellcat pistol
- A loaded Smith & Wesson Shield pistol
- A loaded, shortened AR-15 rifle ghost gun
- A loaded Kimber Ultra Carry pistol reported stolen out of Whiteside County
- A loaded Taurus handgun with defaced serial numbers
- A loaded Springfield XD pistol
"The arrest of the defendant in this case is a testament to the professional, vigilant work of the Naperville Police Department,” DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a statement.
He added, “After receiving information regarding a possibly stolen Ford F150 Raptor, officers kept an eye out and one week later located the vehicle. This heads-up work not only led to the recovery of the allegedly stolen vehicle, but also resulted in the removal of multiple illegally owned firearms, including a machine gun, and nearly 775 grams of cocaine from our streets."
Neustadter is scheduled to appear in court again on March 23.
