NAPERVILLE, IL — Police in Naperville are asking residents for help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint Saturday morning.

According to police, the man entered a store in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue around 4 a.m. and showed a gun before taking cigarettes and cash from the premises. He then left the store on foot and headed south.

The suspect was described as a Black man in his early 20s with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a sweatshirt with a hood, dark pants and light shoes. Police say he was also carrying a dark backpack.
