Craft Brews, Brats Planned For Oktoberfest At Naper Settlement
The fest features live music from the Polkaholics, a kids activity center, and German-inspired eats.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Fall has finally arrived and with it comes the bratwurst, craft beers, and polka tunes of Oktoberfest at Naper Settlement. This year's celebration of all things German, set for Oct. 5 and 6 will feature German cuisine from MyEats, beer from Schamberger Brothers, games for kids and grownups alike.
The menu for Oktoberfest puts some of the best-known German eats in the spotlight. Whether you've got a craving for spaetzle and strudel or you're dying to devour a bratwurst, you'll find it at Naper Settlement's celebration.
Adison Glick, who coordinates special events at Naper Settlement, said in a news release that the cinnamon pretzel — with pumpkin dip — is a must-try.

Live music is planned for both days of Oktoberfest. Friday's lineup includes the Grammy-nominated Lenny Gomulka and Chicago Push and the world-renowned Polkaholics.
On Saturday, The Happy Wanderers and Freeze Dried will get the music started with lively polka music before the Steve Meisner Trio makes their Oktoberfest debut. The night closes out with a performance by headliners Mike and Joe, who will play cover tunes of famous hits.

At 4 p.m. on Saturday, kids can play lawn games and compete in a stein-holding competition.
When: Oct. 5 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Oct. 6 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

How Much: $15 for adults, $10 for kids, free for Naper Settlement members and children under four years old.
