GJOVIK CHEVROLET BUICK GMC celebrates the 50 year anniversary of Chevrolet in SANDWICH, IL—June 18, 2018—Dealership principal, Olaf Gjovik, is happy to announce the celebration of 50 years of Chevrolet and 25 years of Buick in Sandwich, IL.

Chevrolet Buick GMC opened its doors in 1968 and Olaf Gjovik has been there
since. During that time gas was priced at only 34¢. You can imagine how times
have changed for Gjovik. Through hardship and successes Olaf Gjovik’s
perseverance got him to where he is today, but he could not have done it alone.
Gjovik’s team helped lead the way to this 50 years milestone. This team
includes Kris Mieszala, controller, who has been with Gjovik for 26 years and Nick
Oeser, general manager with 13 years of service. Fred Squillo is the executive
manager of the dealership. They operate
as not only coworkers, but also as a family due to their many years of
commitment to this car dealership.
In honor of the 50 year
anniversary of Chevrolet, Gjovik hosted a celebration. The Celebration took
place on June 8th. Gjovik’s family came from all over the country to
be there to congratulate him on his successes.
