Downtown Naperville Eatery Abruptly Closing

NAPERVILLE, IL — Everdine’s Grilled Cheese Co. is closing its downtown Naperville location on Friday, the business announced earlier this week.

“We are so grateful for all our wonderful customers who stuck by and supported us through this last decade,” the business wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Located at 24 W. Jefferson Ave., Everdine’s opened in 2016 and serves a wide array of grilled cheese sandwiches featuring ingredients such as Buffalo chicken, macaroni and cheese, and tuna.

The business opened a second location last year in downtown Batavia, which will remain open.
