Driver Allegedly Crashed into Naperville Squad Car, Kept Going
The 46-year-old man was eventually caught and arrested.

Naperville, IL — A Bolingbrook man was arrested early Saturday morning after he allegedly crashed into a Naperville squad car and then fled the scene.
Kevin F. Kauper, 46, was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to provide information, failure to reduce speed approaching an emergency vehicle, improper lane use and unsafe tires, according to the Daily Herald.
Police were investigating a single-vehicle accident on 75th St. when a silver Volkswagen struck an unoccupied squad car. Kauper allegedly fled the scene and was forced to stop after a police chase.
