Earth Day Fair, Tree Sale To Embrace Earth Week In Naperville
Several events are slated throughout Naperville to celebrate Earth Day and Earth Week and this year's theme, "Invest in our Planet."
NAPERVILLE, IL — An Earth Day Fair, a tree sale and more are planned throughout Naperville to celebrate Earth Week Day, which falls on April 22. This year marks the 53rd anniversary of when Earth Day was first founded and the theme is "Invest In Our Planet."
In addition to organizing the following events, the Naperville Park District is encouraging residents to be proactive by recycling, supporting sustainable fashion and posting their Earth Day activities with the following hashtags: #InvestInOurPlanet and #EarthWeekNaperville.
Arbor Day Tree Sale

Starting March 20, residents can buy trees to spruce up their yards during the Arbor Day Tree Sale. The tree sale is set to end April 14, unless the trees sell out before that. Once sales open, customers will be able to buy six trees each and can set up a time to pick up their items on April 22.

Paper Shredding Event
Head to the parking lot at Centennial Beach on April 15 for a paper shredding event that will help you safely dispose of your personal documents. Residents can bring up to two boxes during the event. The items will be shredded and the shredded paper will be recycled, a post said.
Earth Day Fair
Groups and businesses from in and around Naperville will be on hand at an Earth Day Fair on April 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The fair will have plenty of resources available to educate visitors about environmental protection, sustainability and green practices. The Earth Day Fair will be held at Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Dr., Naperville.
