Edward Foundation Charity Golf Tournament raises $470,000

The Foundation, the charitable fundraising organization of Edward Hospital, was established in 1990 and has raised more than $54.3 million.

The Edward Foundation raised $470,000 at its 28th annual Charity Golf Tournament on July 19 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont. More than 300 golfers participated in the event and donated funds through sponsorships, raffles and games. Dionne Miller, weekend sports anchor and reporter, ABC7 Eyewitness News, was the event’s celebrity guest.

The Foundation, the charitable fundraising organization of Edward Hospital, was established in 1990 and has raised more than $54.3 million in its mission to support Edward Hospital’s community healthcare initiatives.

The winning team on Cog Hill’s Dubsdread course was the Residential Home Health foursome of Andrew Baasen, Justin Kochen, Teresa McDaniel and Sean Schuster.

The winning team on Cog Hill’s Courses 1 and 3 was the Republic Bank of Chicago foursome of Steve Campanella, Justin Frapasella, Kevin Kethcart and Steve Moudry.
