Edward Hospital Coronavirus Numbers Remain In Double Digits

NAPERVILLE, IL — The number of new coronavirus inpatients at Edward Hospital in Naperville is still in the double digits, according to information from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. As of Tuesday, Edward Hospital is treating 14 inpatients with coronavirus.

The new numbers reflect a slight increase in coronavirus patients at Edward Hospital. As of Aug. 3, the hospital was treating seven coronavirus inpatients.

Two patients who recovered from coronavirus were discharged in the last 24 hours, Hartenberger said Tuesday.

Since March 24, 493 patients have recovered from coronavirus and been discharged from Edward Hospital, according to Hartenberger. In total, there have been 47 coronavirus-related deaths at the facility.
