Edward Hospital Sees Uptick In Coronavirus Inpatients
At press time, the Naperville hospital was treating 11 patients with the new coronavirus.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Edward Hospital in Naperville has seen a slight uptick in new coronavirus patients in the past week. At press time, the hospital was treating 11 inpatients with the coronavirus, according to hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger.
The numbers have nearly tripled from early last week, when Edward Hospital had four coronavirus inpatients.

Since March 24, 417 patients have recovered from coronavirus and been discharged from Edward Hospital, according to Hartenberger. In total, there have been 46 coronavirus-related deaths at the facility.
Edward Hospital is placing a decorative daffodil outside the hospital to honor each patient who has recovered from coronavirus.
