Edward Hospital's Coronavirus Numbers Back In Double Digits

NAPERVILLE, IL — The number of new coronavirus inpatients at Edward Hospital in Naperville is back in the double digits, according to information from hospital spokesperson Keith Hartenberger. As of Tuesday, Edward Hospital is treating 14 inpatients with coronavirus.

The new numbers reflect an increase in coronavirus patients at Edward Hospital over the past month. As of Aug. 3, the hospital was treating seven coronavirus inpatients. As of Sept. 4, the hospital was treating eight coronavirus patients.

Six patients who recovered from coronavirus were discharged in the last 96 hours, Hartenberger said Tuesday.

Since March 24, 519 patients have recovered from coronavirus and been discharged from Edward Hospital, according to Hartenberger. In total, there have been 47 coronavirus-related deaths at the facility.
