Edward Hospital's first baby of 2017 arrives at 5:49 a.m.

Maximus Xavier Firmature and his parents, Veronica and Matthew, live in Aurora.

Maximus Xavier Firmature was the first baby of 2017 born at Edward Hospital in Naperville.

Maximus was born at 5:49 a.m. on January 1. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19 inches long.

His parents are Veronica, 32 years old, and Matthew Firmature, 33. Maximus is their second child.
