Edward NICU raises $14,000 for March of Dimes

An Edward Hospital team raised nearly $14,400 dollars for the March of Dimes DuPage March for Babies on Sunday, April 26. The annual 3.1 mile walk was held on the Naperville River Walk. The Edward team included Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) doctors, nurses, and respiratory and physical therapists, along with former NICU patients and families. An Edward NICU staff bake sale at the hospital contributed more than $1,500 to the total $14,393 collected for the event. The NICU team is organized each year by Joan Smyth, RN. The bake sale is coordinated by Patty Roumeliotis, RN.
