Enjoy Live Music, Dance At A Celebration Of India In Naperville
A Celebration of India will feature performances from Grammy-nominated group Berklee Indian Ensemble and dance from Tarana School.
NAPERVILLE, IL — Grammy-nominated musicians and traditional Indian dancers will dazzle audience members at A Celebration of India, a three-hour showcase of Indian culture set for March 25 at Northern Illinois University.
The event features a performance from Berklee Indian Ensemble, whose album"Shuruaat" was nominated for Best Global Album at the Grammy Awards in February. Berklee Indian Ensemble's style melds Indian musical traditions with influences from other genres and cultures, according to the band's website.
Before Berklee Indian Ensemble takes the stage, performers from Tarana School of Music and Dance will weave stories with their artful choreography and colorful attire.

Tickets to A Celebration of India are $10 for general admission and $5 for faculty, staff and students of Northern Illinois University.
