Benefit Raises Funds for Special Olympics

Naperville Park District Police will join other law enforcement officers from the City of Naperville and North Central College to serve lunch at Texas Roadhouse to benefit the 2011 Illinois Special Olympics.

Guests will enjoy a “free” lunch served by police officers and may simply leave a donation at the table. One hundred per cent of the donations will go toward Special Olympics Illinois.

Park Police began fundraising earlier this spring by selling tee shirts and by participating in the Cop on a Rooftop event in June.  Merchandise will be sold during the various events and also is available for purchase through the Naperville Park District at 320 West Jackson Ave.
