Chinese New Year 2013 • Year of the Water Snake

Going by the Western calendar, Chinese New Year this year falls on Sunday, February 10. We are going from the year of the dragon to the year of the water snake. The water snake represents cosmic awareness and sage spirituality, symbolic opportunity for spiritual rebirth.

During the month of Febraury, stop by F.I.R.E. Art Studios and Gallery and paint your water snake using one of natures musical instruments, a locust tree bean pod.
