Washington Street Reopens After Crews Clear Fallen Trees

NAPERVILLE, IL — Washington Street in downtown Naperville has reopened after damage from Wednesday's storms caused fallen trees to block part of the roadway.

As of 11 a.m., crews had been working to clear debris near the intersection of Washington Street and Martin Avenue. Electrical crews were also at the scene. The road was reopened in both directions as of 12 p.m.

DuPage and Will Counties were still under a severe thunderstorm watch until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
