Family Displaced By Early Morning Fire In Naperville

NAPERVILLE, IL — A family was displaced by a fire that broke out in their Naperville home and caused roughly $150,000 in damage early Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Julian Street at midnight for a report of a fire. When they got to the scene, they found flames coming from the chimney wall on the first floor of the three-story house.

It took just over an hour for firefighters to put out the blaze, per a news release from Division Chief Douglas Erwin.

No one was hurt in the fire, the cause of which was still under investigation as of Thursday morning.
