'Fight Club' Author to Appear at Naperville Marriott

If you’re looking to hear a story that’s sure to shock, you’re going to want to be at The Chicago Marriott in Naperville at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 30

Chuck Palahniuk, acclaimed author of “Fight Club” and “Haunted,” will be at Anderson’s to promote his latest short story compilation, “Make Something Up: Stories You Can’t Unread” and his comic book sequel to “Fight Club.”

This event will include a cash bar. There will be no autographing at this event. All books and comics will be pre-signed.

The event will also feature an additional special guest author: Irvine Welsh, author of “The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins: and the international bestselling “Trainspotting.”

Attendees can expect a presentation, games, prizes, a live reading, Q & A and other exciting and fun surprises.

Tickets are required for this event and are $40. Each ticket admits one person to the event and includes one pre-signed copy of “Make Something Up” and one pre-signed first run copy of the comic, ”Fight Club 2.” There will not be a live signing.

The Chicago Marriott in Naperville is located at 1801 N. Naper Blvd.
