Fire Causes $200K In Damages To Apartment Building In Naperville
Officials say the fire broke out just before 5:45 a.m. in the 1600 block of Ishnala Drive.

NAPERVILLE, IL — An early morning fire caused $200,000 in damage to an apartment building in Naperville Sunday. No one was hurt in the blaze and fire officials say no one was home in the unit that caught on fire.
Firefighters were called to the 1600 block of Ishnala Drive after a fire alarm was activated just before 5:45 a.m. When they got to the scene, they found a fire in a unit on the second floor of the multi-unit building .
Residents were evacuated from the building as crews worked to contain the fire in the unit and extinguish it.

The affected unit was deemed uninhabitable, but other residents were able to return to their units. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
