Fire Causes $20K In Damage To Home In Naperville
Fire officials say one person sustained minor injuries when a blaze broke out early Saturday in the 2200 block of Salisbury Drive.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Fire officials say smoking materials that were not properly disposed of are to blame for a blaze that caused around $20,000 in damages to a home in Naperville early New Year's Day.
The fire, which broke out in the 2200 block of Salisbury Drive around 12:30 a.m., resulted in minor injuries to one person.
When firefighters got to the scene, they found smoke coming from the two-story home's attached garage. They were able to keep the fire contained to the garage and remained onsite after extinguishing the blaze to target remaining hot spots and perform smoke removal.
