Fire Causes $250K In Damages To Naperville Home

NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire tore through the floor of a home in Naperville Wednesday morning, causing roughly $250,000 in damage to the property.

Firefighters were called to the 800 block of Cardiff Road just after 8 a.m. for a report that black smoke was coming from the home's roof. When crews went to the second story of the home, they found the floor had burned through entirely.

No one was injured in the blaze, after which the home was deemed to be uninhabitable.
