NAPERVILLE, IL — A fire caused $25,000 in damage to a business in Naperville Monday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 1800 block of High Grove Lane around 4:20 p.m. for a report of a fire. The building's occupants had escaped safely before firefighters arrived.

Once fire crews got to the scene, they located "moderate smoke" from the roof of the building, a news release said. Hoses were used to extinguish the blaze, which officials say was linked to a piece of mechanical equipment that failed.
