Firefighter Hospitalized After Battling Blaze In Naperville
A firefighter was hospitalized in stable condition after a blaze that destroyed a home in Naperville Saturday.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A firefighter was hospitalized in stable condition after battling a blaze that broke out in a home in Naperville Saturday.
Fire crews were called to the 3300 block of Keller Lane just after 1:30 p.m. for a report of a fire in the back of the home. It took over two hours to make sure the fire and its related hot spots had been put out.
Two firefighters sustained heat-related injuries. One was taken to Edward Hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition. The other was treated at the scene.

The home was deemed to be uninhabitable after the fire, which caused $300,000 in damages to the house. The cause of the blaze had not been determined as of Monday morning.
