Free Bulk Leaf Collection To Resume In Naperville

Free bulk leaf collection will take place in three separate cycles throughout the fall.

NAPERVILLE, IL — With autumn in full swing, it's time for Naperville residents to start getting ready for the city's first leaf collection of the year. Free bulk collection of leaves will begin on Oct. 15.

Residents will have three opportunities to get their leaves ready for bulk collection: Oct. 15, Oct. 29, and Nov. 12. City officials say the leaves will be collected if they're raked into the street by the curb near their home. The city also reminds residents to avoid blocking storm drains when raking their leaves out for collection.

Residents can also collect their leaves in 32-gallon yard waste bags that are for sale at grocery stores throughout the city. To make sure your leaves and yard waste get collected, be sure to have them out at the curb by 6 a.m. on the day your trash is collected. Bagged leaf waste and yard waste will be collected through Dec. 14.
