As part of the Earth Week Naperville celebration, Naperville Park District and the Naperville Police Department are sponsoring a free Shredding Event at Fort Hill Activity Center on Saturday morning, April 16 from 8:00-11:00 a.m. or until the truck is filled. Additionally, Fort Hill Fitness is offering a Zero Enrollment special on April 16 for those who purchase fitness memberships that day. Fort Hill Activity Center is located at 20 Fort Hill Drive in Naperville.

Everyone is welcome to drop off up to 2 cardboard banker boxes of paper per household/vehicle, not to exceed 10 lbs. per box. Volunteers will unload your boxes and return them to you, while you remain in your vehicle. Please note that no metal or plastic binder rings or clips can be included with the paper.

“As part of our emphasis on health and wellness at Fort Hill Fitness, we are happy to help people dispose of paper documents that they no longer need, in a way that is environmentally friendly,” said Fitness Manager Kristina McGrath. “We hope people will get a head start on decluttering for a healthier home, as well as take advantage of the Zero Enrollment offer for their spring fitness goals.”
