The Edward Foundation celebrated $790,000 in contributions during its first virtual gala, the BIG GIVE, which was held on Oct. 22. More than 400 individuals registered for the online version of the annual gala, which serves as the Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year and provides financial backing for Edward Hospital programs and services that directly impact patients.

Funds raised this year will go to the Edward Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, which supports the financial needs associated with essential workers at Edward and their efforts to serve patients impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

ABC 7 Chicago news anchor Alan Krashesky was the host of the BIG GIVE, which also featured Edward leaders, physicians and nurses sharing stories of their efforts and experiences during the hospital’s COVID-19 response.
