Gingerbread Houses on Display for a Good Cause Downtown Crystal Lake

Creative Gingerbread House displays are currently on display in several downtown Crystal Lake businesses.

The public is invited to stop by the businesses and vote for their favorites by donating money to a Salvation Army Red Kettle located at the business.

The business that collects the most money through Dec. 24 will be named the winner of the Business Gingerbread Creation contest.

The following businesses are participating in this year’s contest:

• Marvin’s Toy Store, 64 North Williams Street
• Material Girl, 21 North Williams Street
• Out of the Box, 71 North Williams Street
• Suran Built, 30 North Williams Street
• Sweet Pea Cakes, 40 North Williams Street
