Grandma Sally's to Close; Restaurant for Sale Following Fire Last Summer

The restaurant has been a breakfast staple in Naperville for the past 30 years.

It looks like Grandma Sally’s in Naperville is closing for good after a fire damaged the local waffle and pancake house this past summer, according to the Daily Herald.

The three partners who owned and operated Grandma Sally’s Family Restaurant, at 450 E. Ogden Ave., for nearly 30 years originally planned to repair and re-open the restaurant but recently decided to place it on the market for $1 million, the newspaper reports.

The owners worked with their insurance company before ultimately deciding to sell the 4,400-square-foot building. Since the building has been placed on the market, the owners have received interest from other potential restaurant buyers, the Daily Herald reports.
