Gunfire Exchanged At Home In Naperville

Police say no one was hurt when two people who know one another exchanged gunfire inside a home in Naperville Sunday.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Shots were exchanged inside a Naperville home during an altercation Sunday afternoon. Police say an armed person went into the home of a person they knew in the 2200 block of Wentworth Court and exchanged gunfire with the person.

The shots fired incident took place just after 2 p.m.

"It has yet to be determined as to what transpired but there was an exchange of gunfire between the subject and one person in the home," Naperville police said in a news release. The person who came to the home then drove away, per the news release.

According to police, it is believed that no one was hurt in the incident.
