Halloween In Naperville 2021: Trick-Or-Treat Information, Tips
Kids in Naperville can go trick-or-treating at downtown businesses in the morning and then go door-to-door in the evening on Oct. 31.

NAPERVILLE, IL — Halloween is right around the corner, which means Naperville's little ghosts and goblins are getting excited about all the spooky fun the city has to offer. Naperville will offer two chances to load up on candy in 2021, with trick-or-treating planned at downtown businesses in the morning and throughout the city in the late afternoon and evening on Oct. 31.
Trick-or-Treating In Downtown Naperville
Kids can don their Halloween costumes and visit businesses in downtown Naperville from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Oct. 31 to trick-or-treat for candy and other activities, including face and hand painting. A Trick-or-Treat Trolley will be available to ferry kids to participating businesses, with pickup and drop-off available at Water Street near Hotel Indigo and Van Buren Street near the Main Street Promenade.

More than 60 businesses will be passing out candy, according to an update on the city's website. Click the link to see the full roundup of businesses participating in trick-or-treating in downtown Naperville. Note: some businesses will only hand out candy between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Homes in Naperville may choose to welcome trick-or-treaters on Oct. 31. The city does not designate trick-or-treat times, but suggests that younger kids should stop trick-or-treating when darkness falls and older kids should wrap up trick-or-treating by 8 p.m.
Residents can choose to display signs that indicate whether they will be passing out treats. Click the link to download and print trick-or-treat signs. Signs can also be picked up at Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.
