Haunted Asylums, Fire Spinners Come To Naper Settlement

The spine-tingling weekend includes an illusionist, a replica of H.H. Holmes's murder castle, and more.

NAPERVILLE, IL — The historic buildings at Naper Settlement will be occupied by ghosts, witches, and other terrifying creatures during the two-day All Hallow's Eve event on Oct. 19 and 20. The fear-inducing festivities include an illusionist, fire spinning, and a dark art gallery.

Throughout the 13 acres of Naper Settlement, buildings will be transformed into scary landmarks. Visitors can step into the Murder Castle of H.H. Holmes, brave a Victorian-era mental asylum, and tiptoe through a torture dungeon.

Live entertainment will be provided by an illusionist and fire spinners. A professional face painter will also be on hand to help transform kids into zombies, cats, and characters.
