Health Inspection Report: Heaven on Seven

Is it clean enough for you?

NAPERVILLE, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The DuPage County Health Department visited Heaven on Seven for a routine inspection Jan. 4.
Items out of compliance were:

  • Tomatoes temped at 49 F and sausage temped at 52F in prep cooler.
  • Beans temped at 92F, unlabeled, in ice bath. Most of the ice was melted and the beans were sitting in water. All foods that require temperature control for safety (TCS) must be labeled with the time that cooling began and cooling must be monitored.
  • Potatoes temped at 78F, unlabeled, in ice bath. Most of the ice was melted and the potatoes were sitting in water. No evidence of stirring product. All foods that require temperature control for safety (TCS) must be labeled with the time that cooling began and cooling must be monitored.
  • Pans of sausage on speed rack in basement temped at 70F, outside of temperature control, unlabeled. All foods that require temperature control for safety (TCS) must be labeled with the time that cooling began and cooling must be monitored.
  • Hand sink downstairs does not have soap, dispenser is not attached to wall.

The restaurant received a demerit score of 33. Demerit scores start at zero and increase as violations are observed. This is the sum of the weight (Wt) of each item marked.
