Health Inspection Report: White Chocolate Grill

Is it clean enough for you?

NAPERVILLE, IL — You might love the food, but sometimes the restaurants you visit aren’t always the cleanest places. And sometimes they are. You can know for sure with a health inspection report.

The DuPage County Health Department visited the White Chocolate Grill for a routine inspection July 20. Items out of compliance were:

  • Observed a hair in container of white chocolate. Discard white chocolate. Discussed with manager. Manager discarded product.
  • Chicken temped at 108 degrees F and turkey temped at 109 degrees F in hot hold unit. Foods should be held hot at 135 degrees F or greater. Discussed proper hot holding with manager. Discard meat. Meat discarded.
  • Salad prep cooler maintaining a temperature of 50 degrees F. Cold hold units should hold at a temperature of 41 degrees F or lower. Repair salad prep cooler as necessary to maintain a temperature of 41 degrees F or lower.
  • Dish machine is not reaching a temperature of 160 degrees F. Must repair dish machine to reach a temperature of 160 degrees F or greater in order to effectively sanitize dishes.

The restaurant received a demerit score of 47. Demerit scores start at zero and increase as violations are observed. This is the sum of the weight (Wt) of each item marked.
