Holiday volunteer training webinar available Nov. 20
Listen from home to prepare for volunteering at Santa House and other events

As Santa House enters its 18th year, the Park District once again is offering an easy way for prospective volunteers to prepare to serve as Santa’s elves: a training webinar (approximately 45 minutes long) that can be viewed from home at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20.
Interested volunteers may request the webinar invitation by emailing Volunteer Manager Lynnette Hoole at lhoole@napervilleparks.org. Those who are not able to participate in the webinar at 7:00 p.m. on November 20 may email Lynnette to request a copy of the training materials, which will be sent after the webinar has concluded. Those who view the live webinar will be able to choose their preferred volunteer shifts immediately following the webinar.
Volunteers ages 15 to adult are needed for Santa House, presented by Woody Buick GMC, November 30-December 22, Skating with Santa on December 7, and Donuts with Santa on December 7. Prospective volunteers may sign up for these events at www.napervilleparks.org/volunteer after they have completed the training, either via the live webinar or through training materials sent by email.

Volunteers who complete the training, including answering the questions at the end, will receive one hour of community service.
